My Sister Brenda

Yes, That's Right I Said Sister. Even Though Brenda And I Don't Share The Blood, We Still Consider Each Other Brother/Sister.
Brenda Came To Us When She Was 7 Years Old. My Parents Were Foster Parents And It Was Common To Have A Houseful Of Kids Coming And Going. Brenda Stayed With Our Family The Longest. For Many Years Now I Never Looked At Her Any Different Than My Sister Channa. I Can't Remember The Last Time I Referred To Her As My Foster Sister. The Way I Have Always Seen It, Is If You Choose To Let Everybody Know There Is No Blood Relation Then You Refer To Her As "Foster".
Brenda Has Had Many Health Issues Over The Years. Her Most Recent Was Last Night When She Became Unresponsive At Home. She Is Still With Us But I Must Ask For Your Prayers.
She Is At Provena Here In Danville. Doctors Are Not Sure What Her Problems Are. Still Awaiting Test To Determine What Caused This. I Have Not Been To Visit Her. I Really Don't Want To See Her In The Condition She Is In. I Think Once She Knows I Am There I Will Go Visit Her.
Brenda Has Always Had A Good Spirit. In Spite Of All Her Health Concerns She Has Managed To Stay Upbeat. Most Recently Though She Has Found It To Be Frustrating Because Her Life Is Ever Changing. In Spite Of It All However, She Remains True To Those She Loves The Most.
We Find Ourselves All Wrapped Up In Our Daily Lives We Don't Take The Time To Smell The Roses. It Seems The Times We Reflect Back Is When We Realize We Could Have Called Or Visited More Often.
I Guess You Could Always Consider It Unfinished Business When You Still Have More To Say But Never Found The Time. If I Had The Opportunity To Bring Back The People I Have Lost Over The Years I Would Most Likely Have Some Things To Say. It's Sad But True.
To My Readers; Do You Have Unfinished Business With People You Care About? Don't Put It Off Until Tomorrow. Tomorrow Never Comes. Take Care Of Business Today. I Really Want To See Brenda. I Will, Once She Knows I Am There.
In The Meantime Please Remember Her In Prayer.
